Itinerary
Day 1
- Arrive in the morning in East London
- Breakfast overlooking the beach
- Transfer to Mthatha experiencing rolling hills with spectacular views and learning about various villages as well as well-known personalities who hail from them
- Arrive in Mthatha and tour the Nelson Mandela Museum,
- Overnight in Mthatha
Day 2
- · Breakfast
- · Transfer to Port St John, one of the best kept secrets of Eastern Cape, situated at the mouth of the Umzimvubu River
- · Enjoy a guided tour of the town learning about the history of the town, visit the museum where various artists showcase their different art pieces as well as traditional art and craft which may be purchased
- · Explore the lush and green forest vegetation of the town and walk to the beach. (Kayaking on the river) is an optional extra activity
- Overnight at lodge on the river
Day 3
- Breakfast
- Enjoy a farm tour on an organic farm where various herbs, fruits and plants are grown and their uses explained.
- Experience an aerial view of the town where the river meets the ocean, one of the best views to witness
- Transfer to Coffee Bay
- Check-in and afternoon at leisure on the beach
Day 4
- Breakfast at hotel
- Hike or drive to Hole in the Wall which will leave you in awe about the wonders of nature
- Picnic at Hole in the wall
- Dinner (own cost)
- Overnight at lodge in Coffee Bay
Day 5
- Breakfast at hotel
- Hike in Tsitsikamma National Park
- Kayak & Lilo Tour/ Black water Tubing in Tsitsikamma Dinner (braai/bbq)
- Overnight at Tsitsikamma
